Biography: Tony Stevens was born Anthony Pusateri on May 2, 1948 in Herculaneum, Missouri. He assisted and choreographed with Peter Gennaro, Gower Champion, and Michael Bennett. He then assisted Bob Fosse on Chicago. With Michon Peacock, he organized a series of tape sessions with Broadway dancers which developed into A Chorus Line. He choreographed for film and television, and worked with performers such as Bernadette Peters, Dolly Parton, Betty Buckley, Liza Minnelli, Joel Grey, Gene Kelly, and Debbie Reynolds.
