Biography: Simon Ward was born on October 19, 1941 in Beckenham, Kent, England to Winifred and Leonard Fox Ward. He studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, where he met his wife, Alexandra Ward. They had three daughters â??Claudia Ward, the actress Sophie Ward and Kitty McIntyre. His first professional acting job was with the Northampton Repertory in 1963.
