Biography: Sherry Britton was born Edith Zack on July 28, 1918 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to Charles and Esther Dansky Zack. She was a burlesque performer during its Golden Age in the 1930s and 1940s. She married Robert Gross in 1971.

TV Credits: "The Mask," "The Investigator," and "The Best of Burlesque."

Trivia:
She was named an honorary brigadier general by President Franklin D. Roosevelt for entertaining troops during World War II.
