Biography: Robert Calhoun was born on November 24, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York. He studied at the University of Maryland, and served for three years in the United States Navy. His early work was with institutions such as the National Repertory Theater and the Mark Taper Forum. He directed and produced for various critically-acclaimed television series. He co-authored Include Me Out, his lifetime partner actor Farley Granger's 2007 memoir.
