Biography: Juanita Moore was born on October 19, 1914 in Greenwood, Mississippi to Ella and Harrison Moore. She became a dancer and was a chorus girl at the Cotton Club. She studied acting at the Actors' Laboratory. Moore married Ananias Berry and then Charles Thomas Burris.
