Biography: Jerry Bock was born Jerrold Lewis Bock on November 23, 1928 in New Haven, Connecticut. He attended the University of Wisconsin. He wrote music for television shows at the beginning of his career. He married Patricia Faggen, with whom he had his children George and Portia.
