Biography: Tom Aldredge was born Thomas Ernest Aldredge on February 28, 1928 in Dayton, Ohio to Lucienne Juliet and William Joseph Aldredge. He trained at the Goodman School of Drama in Chicago. He performed often with the New York Shakespeare Festival from the 1950s to the 1980s. He performed with Premise, a Greenwich Village improvisational troupe, in the 1960s. He married costume designer Theoni V. Aldredge.
