Biography: Maxine Stuart was born Maxine Shlivek on June 28, 1918 in New Jersey. She is a life member of The Actors Studio. She married her second husband, Frank Maxwell, in 1949. The couple had one daughter -- Chris Ann Maxwell. She then married David Shaw in 1974.
