Wood's Minstrel Hall


514 Broadway (Spring & Broome), New York, NY

After the failure of his first minstrel house, Henry Wood (the mayor's brother) converted this theatre from a Jewish synagogue in 1862. Later, Harrigan & Hart took over and renamed it Theatre Comique.
