Description: A Musical Extravaganza in Three Acts, 9 Scenes
Comments: Program note by Edward E. Rice: "With the consent of the author and composer, I have introduced some popular music of the day, a morceau by Rubinstein, three numbers by Mr. Perlet, and a few of my own, also a Grand Finale to the second act, "Our National Song," written expressly for me by Adam Itzel, Jr. of Baltimore. I make this explanation in order that Mr. Pfleuger may not be accused of plagiarism."
