Comments
Joan Copeland and Carol Woods were originally cast in the roles of Zelda and Bessie James, respectively. Both left the production during rehearsals, and were replaced, respectively, by Rebecca Schull and Lynda Gravátt. Neither Copeland nor Woods actually performed in this production.
