Frank Liberman

Mr. Liberman was a publicist who represented Bob Hope for 41 years. His roster also included such film and TV talent as Henry Fonda, Nat King Cole, Peggy Lee, William Shatner and Phyllis Diller, who he represented for 33 years.
Born in Manhattan, Liberman got his start in the business working for Warner Bros. in New York. Later he moved to Burbank, and in 1947, founded his own public relations company, Frank Liberman and Associates.
Liberman also publicized such films as "The Miracle Worker," "Solomon and Sheba" and "Fiddler on the Roof." As a book publicist, he represented George Burns, Steve Allen and clients Hope and Diller.
A member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences since 1946, he was also a member of the Publicist's Guild. Liberman was honored with the org's Bob Yeager award in 1991.
