Dee Anthony
Producer
Dee Anthony, who managed the careers of Peter Frampton, Joe Cocker and others with a blunt, streetwise style that made him a rock power broker in the 1970s, passed away in Norwalk, Conn.
Born Anthony D’Addario on April 9, 1926, Mr. Anthony grew up in the Bronx and served in the submarine force of the United States Navy during World War II. Returning to the Bronx, he began booking nightclub dates for his friend the singer Jerry Vale and eventually became Mr. Bennett’s road manager. He changed his name in the late 1950s.
