Ronald Roston graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and Hunter College of the City University of New York. His career as director, teacher, and mentor spanned five decades, with his final work as Associate Professor in Acting and Directing at the University of West Florida and Artistic Director of the Pensacola Little Theatre.
His work included being the Artistic Director of the Writers' Circle in New York; Head of the MFA Directing Program at Rutgers University; and Artistic Director of the Renegade Theater Company in Hoboken, New Jersey. He also directed "A Jazz Nativity" in New York and various productions at the Manhattan Theater Club, the Westchester Regional Theater, the Circle Repertory Company, and the Theatre of the Living Arts in Philadelphia.
