Biography: Isabel Leighton Bunker wrote for the North American Newspaper Alliance and various magazines in the 1930s and 1940s. She served as a naval correspondent in World War II. She wrote and co-authored several books including "My Boy Franklin" about Franklin D. Roosevelt and "Where Away" about World War II cruiser Marblehead. Leighton moderated the television program "How Did They Get That Way?" in the early 1950s. She was married to Arthur H. Bunker.
