Setting
Camp Karefree, a summer camp for adults, "where friendships are formed to last a whole lifetime through," is located in the heart of Vacationland. It could be the Berkshires, the Adirondacks, the Poconos, the White Mountains - or the Catskills. Summer.
Comments
This production featured a $28,000 full-sized swimming pool onstage. Due to the extensive construction, the production had a lengthy preview period in New York (extremely rare for the time) instead of an out-of-town tryout.
