Ron Eldard was slated to take over the role of Biff on July 28, 1999, however strained vocal chords kept him from joining the company until August 4, 1999. Understudy Steve Cell played the role July 28 - 29, and Kevin Anderson, who originated Biff, returned to the role July 30 - August 1.
